My friends and I had tonne of Fun at Mimpian Jadi Resort, Tuaran. But after I reach hostel and took a shower. I saw thousand of red dots on my legs. I am exaggerating, but it is more than ten I tell you >.< and it is damn itchy! There are so many, it look disgusting >.< and all because of those darn sand flees! My Aunt warn me too clean the sheet before I go to sleep but she did’t say anything about wearing long pants.
I found out Mimpian Jadi Resort are famous for its sand flies. Some of my friends and even our tutor got it. But I am the worse! and after a week, although it is healing, you can still see the red marks all over my legs.
Last weekend, the whole class spend the weekend at Mimpian Jadi Resort Tuaran. We even “accidentally” met our tutor, Mr B, there What a coincident! We took off from KK around noon.
We reach Tuaran around two, if I am not miskaten. The road remind me of home We had a hard time finding the place because it is the middle of no-where! Eventually, we did found the place and indeed it was stunning. A few shot after we arrive.
Clear blue sky makes us fall in love with the place
After we settle down and had our lunch and “evening tea” we had a beach volley ball tournament. It was fun playing, although more than half of us don’t know how to play the game.
Next, it’s pool time! The resort don’t have a big pool. Just a pool with three different degree of height.
After fun in the pool, we get ready for our BBQ for dinner
After our BBQ, we had a sing-a-long session with the whole class. Each ethnic of the class present a song and the whole class sing along to it. Since I am mix, and there are many of my friends are Chinese, so I join the Dusun club and we sang “Tanak Kampung”. We call off the night and get our rest in our room after that.
The next morning, some of my friends and I are among the early bird. We stroll down the seaside enjoying the sun rise and the morning breeze.
We stroll around the resort. It is a small resort and not fully maintain. It can be a great resort if it is manage properly.
After breakfast, we play a game called “Revenge Shot”. We really had fun in this game, see our “weapon” . After game, more pool time!
After that we pack our things and check out around noon. It was fun time with my classmates and tutor. Although there are minor hiccups here and there, but we manage to get to our second home, IPG Gaya, safe and sound.
