Feb.23,2012Nick’s friend got married last Saturday so we went to Tenom for the reception and we took the opportunity to go to the Taman Pertanian Tenom. I’ve always wanted to go there since Nick been there before and some of my friends also had been there before. We are lucky because Nick’s bos, Johanna, was with us the whole time and she is the official tour guide as Tenom is her home town.
The place is BIG. Many different kind of fruit, plant can be found there. It is a must visit for nature lover
Now this is the Buah ajaib and the tree. What is so special about this little fruit is its ability to change our taste bud. Now, Nick was very excited to taste this fruit, me on the other hand don’t have any feelings about it. Johanna’s brother took us to a garden and taste the magic of the fruit itself. At first he gave us a small belimbing to be tasted. As you all know the small belimbing is sour. He then teaches us the proper way to take the buah ajaib. First you peel off the red skin and just suck the fruit like a candy, you don’t want to bite it as it has a hard black seed. The taste of the fruit and the color of the inside is just like a mangosteen. After we took the buah ajaib, he then ask us to take a bite again on the small belimbing, and to our surprise it taste as sweet as an apple!

We go about the garden using bicycles. I have not ride in one a long time so I was very excited to take a ride. But there are some minor accident when I don’t know how to use the break lol. You definitely should rent the bicycles if you are there.
Tired after cycling the bike for almost two hour, and I did’t not even realised it was almost two hour
Now this is Johanna, Nick’s bos 
since we were at Tenom she is the one who bring us around and pay for our meals. We even enter the Taman Pertanian Tenom for free! and got to ride on the bike for free! We also got a personal tour guide which is Johanna’s little brother who work at the Taman Pertanian Tenom. Big thanks to them!
We had a short rest at the cafe afterwards, Nick and me order 100plus, the 1ooplus tasted sweet like a orange juice >.< because of the buah ajaib!
We definitely had fun there! See you again Tenom!
